The chocolate I almost dismissed
A friend mentioned Nyra in passing. She said the chocolate was genuinely good and that she had been sleeping better since she started having it before bed. I half-listened. Functional chocolate sounded like the kind of category that promises transformation and delivers a vaguely medicinal aftertaste.
Two weeks later, out of mild curiosity and mild desperation, I ordered a box.
The first square stopped me. Not because of anything I expected. Because it was genuinely, properly delicious. Rich, smooth 70% Swiss dark chocolate with a depth of flavour I was not prepared for. I checked the packaging twice to make sure I had not picked up the wrong thing.
Then, about forty minutes later, I noticed something had shifted. Not sedation. Not drowsiness. Just a quietness that had not been there before. The mental chatter was still there, distantly, but it had lost its grip. I got into bed and I fell asleep.
I slept through the night. Properly. All the way through.
I cannot remember the last time that had happened.
The photo she sent to her friend. "Okay fine I ordered it." She wasn't expecting this
John Collck I have tried magnesium capsules, sleep gummies, every herbal tea you can name. Nothing became a habit because nothing felt worth doing every night. Nyra is the first sleep product I have actually looked forward to.
Shelley Arrington I was sceptical of the functional angle. Three weeks in, I am a convert. My evenings are quieter and my sleep is deeper. The Orange and Cardamom is exceptional. 💕
Wayne Assorto This replaced my evening glass of wine and I do not miss it. The ritual is actually better. I feel better in the morning. Sea Salt and Almond is the one I keep coming back to.
Shawn Gries The Hazelnut Praline is extraordinary. Beyond the flavour, I genuinely sleep better. I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling like the sleep actually did something. Did not expect to notice a difference this quickly.
